Parent Governor Chair - Curriculum Committee
|
Mr Rob Chadwick - Chair, Curriculum Committee
Over the last 3 years I have seen the transformation at Hasbury. It has become a school that proves exceptional learning can flourish without sacrificing the natural desire of children to enjoy growing up; be themselves and have fun. That this is underpinned by the caring and supportive ethos that a church school brings, makes Hasbury a very special place.
We have 2 children at Hasbury with a third in Pre-school starting in September 2010. As chair of the Curriculum committee this year, I will be working with the Headteacher and Committee members to extend the progress that has been made.
As a representative of the parents I can be contacted by email at the following address:-

Parent Governor
|
Mr Ashley Marshall
Hasbury is an inspirational school with a fantastic management team and so when we brought our children to the school in 2008 I was fortunate to find a vacancy for a Parent Governor.
I am not sure when I first started that I really knew what being a Governor was all about but I did know that good organisations can always benefit and become great from the feedback that can be given by an interested outsider. The local authority provide a series of training courses for new governors and now after the ongoing training and a number of Governor meetings it is starting to become clearer to me about how governors can support the management team in their pursuit of a great school for our children's education.
