Hasbury Church of England Primary School is a thriving one form entry school with a long and successful history of serving generations of local families.
I joined Hasbury in September 2007 as head teacher and was immediately struck by the caring and inclusive ethos of the School. We value all our children as individuals and want each of them to feel, whether they are from a background of faith or none, that they will be nurtured and cared for while learning here at Hasbury.

I hope that as teachers and parents we share common values that will ensure our children grow to be wise and responsible citizens of the future: the belief that ability comes in all shapes, sizes and flavours and that we recognise, value and celebrate each other’s gifts and talents; that we are fair with others but make sure that others are fair with us; that it is sometimes better to be wise than it is to be clever; that we balance the heat of competition with the good grace of sportsmanship; that showing kindness and consideration for others is a sign of strength of character, not a weakness, and that our souls need to be developed and nurtured as much as our brains and bodies. And above all, the belief that life is for living and that it is our precious duty to leave this world a better place for having been in it.
These are values that make Hasbury School and its community so special and why local people speak so warmly of this church school and the education it has provided for over one hundred years.
